I put used black seats in my 93 sc400 (old ones were tan), They are from same year and model *supposedly*. Everything works as far as power, up-down-forward-back-tilit-lumber exc, when manually working switches. My old ones use to move all the way to the forward position when you tilted the seat forward for people to get in the back seat though and these are not. If everything power is working well and is nice and tight with the new seats why would this function not be working?

For all model years, the power tilt forward was only on the passenger side. At least from my experience with my 92, 00, and my buddy's 95 and 98 SCs. Have you tried using it on that side of the car at all, or were you expecting your drivers seat to move forward automatically as well?

My seats never moved forward automatically when I pull the tilt latch....

Well yeah I have tried both, my seats I just took out both did it before....

My passenger side slides forwards, but not backwards. I've seen a 93 that slides backwards when the seat is tilted back. Curious about this too.

Both? Something sounds suspicious there. It is normally just the pas side to allow people to get in the back since it is considered rude? to use the drivers side. I would check the wiring/plugs to see if anything was toyed with.
