Default Uh 99 SC400, just got to florida?

So Uh, i had a previous thread where i asked about this car and was divided about it being a salvaged title, despite the price being so low. After talking to some of my friends and family it was a 50/50 split with key words being all up to me. So with the word of the forum & some of my colleagues.

Welcome to the SC community. It is a nice looking car. Sometimes they have these titles for just plain crazy reasons. So what are the future fixes besides the body work? Anything else that we dont see or hear in the video?

Salvaged title AND all dented up on the drivers side, would not touch it with a 10ft pole. Rather spend a bit more to get at least a clean bodied SC, it ain't cheap to get the bodywork done. For good work, it's gonna end up costing as much as finding a non salvage SC that doesn't need any bodywork. And I'm not just speaking about money, the time it'll take to get it all done assuming that the body is the ONLY part that needs fixing. Looks to me that it may need work done to the interior and maybe some mechanical work. Not worth it imo, especially since it's pretty much worthless with a salvage title.

well good luck with that then, I guarantee the work won't be that great.. but I guess on a salvaged car, it doesn't matter.

I hope it all works out for you, with the repairs. I would check your left rear tail pipe, looks to be hang low from the frame.

Why the hate talk?

Its his money. LOL

I am looking forward to the photos after the repair. Make the thread more interesting, by uploading photos of the actual progress, if time allows.

Didn't the car cost you $5000? That's $8500....without touching anything mechanically....what's the mileage?

Forgive me if I'm mistaken or I cannot remember the thread correctly I just recall $5000 as the price. Looked at the interior quickly, apparently someone put a fake off colored wood overlay as well.... that's a pretty bad sign imo when someone puts a clearly off colored wood overlay on interior parts....for $30 more you can get the real deal....

I'm glad you got an SC, I just think you over payed for it man. But if it makes you happy that's all that matters. I'm sure other problems will pop up...

Also trying to resell a salvaged title is never easy god forbid you want done with it.

At $8500 I would have just bought a better SC or a different car all together.
