Default Changing button on hazard assembly?

Hi All,

Quick question: Let's say I have a non-working hazard assembly with black button, and I want to put that button on an assembly that currently has a brown button. Is there a way to do that like you can with the radio/climate control *****?

Thanks for the help.

In short, dont bother. Its not worth the trouble. Correct me if I'm wrong, but its clipped in from the inside and wont come out without breaking something.

Not sure, but it's difficult to find a black one for a car with a non-common ground wiring harness, which is why I'm trying to find out if the swap is possible.
