It's working out perfectly. Depending on where the sun is pointing it's beams, the gauge becomes a little difficult to read, but overall perfectly. It's not too bright to distract you while driving at night and even if it did, you can always close the ashtray lid. Also I replaced the adapter with another unit where the volume **** is. It's not like it was doing anything anyway. So I lost nothing and gained a new gauge. I'm very happy with it.

Oh, I would of posted a day picture as well, but my iphone refuses to get the right angle with the sun or with the flash to capture a good day shot of it. If it decided to comply I'll post that up as well.
