Default What do you guys think of a finger print scanner in the Sc?

Hey guys, I was wondering what you guys thought about having a finger print scanner to act as the starter, I found one on Amazon for $350 and that's for the whole kit. Think this would be cool?

Meh.. its cool. Call me old school but I'd prefer the standard key, those push button and auto lock/unlock systems are cool though

I don't really like push to start. I mean if you're already there what's the difference in turning the key. Lol.

Finger print sounds scary. What if someone else is driving your car. What now? You have to use your finger to start it? Lol seems exciting but not for me.

These push buttons dont require you to put in a key then turn it, it has a wireless keyfob that makes it able to start when your in the car with it.
You can program I think 10 different fingerprints and their is also a Vallet mode.

I have been really thinking about that push button start also. I think I would go for the push button start over the finger print because its less complicated and the button looks SICK! It reminds me of the push buttons on the new BMW's

Keep in consideration that this is an old car with an interior of an old car. Push start is as far as I'd go. Finger print seems a bit out of place in an SC but hey... thats YOUR car, you do what YOU want to do.

If you do decide to pull the trigger on this one, post a video.

lol that's some futuristic ****! I'd say do it for cool factor. You would have something unique. Trying new things is fun once in a while. I installed a ps2 and a rear view mirror LCD and it was a fun install. I enjoyed the project. I actually use it once in a while when I'm waiting for someone. At car meets people flip **** lol.

Personally I can think of so many other things I'd rather spent $350 on... like those new rideskins clear lens lights.

I actually like my key to start the car. Hear the V8 come to life when I turn the key. Also what happens if you have starting issues and the car has trouble starting. I dunno I think I would rather just keep my starter as simple as possible.
