water leak in door..help!
I have a problem with water leaking into the car from the doors. A couple years ago it was just the passenger door and I resolved it with plastic sheeting glued in to divert the water from the window seal. It had been dripping onto the speaker shield and getting onto the upholstered panel. The panel would drip onto the carpet at the threshold and run down to the foot well where it accumulated. Now both doors are leaking and both foot wells are soaked. BAD DEAL.
I tried a search for "water door leak" and other ways to say that and got "no match" for an answer. Any info on how to solve the problem will be appreciated as will any assist on the search technique. With the rains in the NW the car is flooded and Wifey wants a solution....or else.

I've got the same problem with my car. Rain building up in the door panel and leaking into the cabin (driver's side). All the drain holes are free of debris, too. My temporary solution until summer will be a car cover. A hassle, but I don't have the time or space to take apart the interior. NW problems... :P
You may get lucky and find good useable weather stripping for sale. New from Lexus is out of the question for me.
If I discover anything new, I'll let you know.

I had the same problem. Found 2 leaks.
My rear right sunroof drain tube popped off causing the carpet behind the passenger seat to get wet. And the other leak was causing the passenger side door panel to get wet, especially the carpeted area in the lower corner. I fixed that one by cleaning out the passenger door seal, it had all sorts of moss and dirt in it which wasnt letting it drain properly.
Finally got them both fixed and now my car isnt all fogged up in the morning!!
