Just curious, why don't you want to get the Torsen installed? They are very beneficial.

You should keep it and install it yourself. There should be a DIY somewhere.

These are from the DIY page if you choose to install it yourself.
LSD INSTALL/REAR END SWAP
(All three of these threads cover auto TT MKIV LSD unit into the SC pumpkin!)
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...0-pumpkin.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...-76-gears.html
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...8-madness.html

If you still wish to sell it, from the the ones I've seen on here people are trying to sell them for around 800 w/ pumpkin. I'd guess just for the LSD itself it'd be valued around $600-700 depending on what somebody wants to pay.
Keep in mind there was a WTB thread around a month ago and a guy in it linked where a Florida shop was selling new Auto TT LSD's for like 950ish? But then again a TRD one can be had for like somewhere around 1000-1100. So don't expect to get any more than 800ish at max.

Hope you install it, but GL if you do sell it.

Honestly I dont really know all the pros for an lsd I know better traction but besides that what else? I have a 1jz in my sc already and traction is ok for it being stock but I dont plan on upgrading any time soon...plus running low onfunds haha

Since you already got a 1jz in your sc, I'd probably put the LSD in. Once you start making more power it's advisable that you have an LSD in your car for the extra ease of controlling the vehicle when you're putting the power to the ground (kind of makes it safer by making it easier to control as well).

I don't know If I really agree with this. It's not a wrong statement, and I do see that most of the posts are from people in CA. I'll assume you don't get much snow.

I'm in Chicago, and in low traction conditions (Snow) when you have an open diff it spins 1 tire. The other tire not spinning stops the car from going left to right. you can spin the 1 tire for 15-20 seconds, and the car won't go sideways. With the LSD it has both tires spin. this will cause the rear of the car to step out. This probably isn't as safe. (It is cool though)

The torsen LSD works by transferring torque from one tire to the other. In low traction conditions this makes the rear of the car feel like it's twitching back n forth.

Now on dry conditions it's great, and I love it. It help make the car go forward better :-)
It's also better for drifting as its much harder to drift with an open diff for the same reasons it doesn't let the rear go sideways very easily.
The stock carrier is also much weaker, and breaks if you spin the tires a lot.
