YES! There are some people who have done it. This is the best example I have found.

http://www.cardomain.com/ride/3006934/1992-lexus-sc/

I'm planning on doing this! Instead of switching to supra seats I'm going to keep my gray SC seats. I'll two tone the interior. SEM the lighter gray parts black just like in the photo. And send off my interior pieces to get dipped in that same silver like this guy did on cardomain.

Doesn't seem like THAT much work to get a ballin interior. Since re-doing the seats would be a ***** and I would be worried it would fade. I'm not going to redo my headliner either, I'll just keep it gray. Dying the carpets would be a ***** though from what I heard and the results sometimes can be less than stellar if not done right. I'll see what it looks like keeping the stock gray carpet with the other parts being black. If it doesn't look right I'll try dying the carpet. But I think keeping the carpet gray would look fine.

Seems like a good direction for us gray interior owners.

The contrast between the black and gray is nice and subtle unlike the black and tan. Looks good!

Yes but my dash and upper door trims are charcoal gray. While the seats and panels etc. Are a light creamy gray

Yup. Getting rid of all that creamy gray. It's a nice looking interior, but I need a change. That light creamy bluish gray is a color I rarely seen in newer interiors. It will look more modern once you get rid of it
