Your Typical Introduction Thread
Hello!
Some of you may know me already due to import alliance or Instagram. I've been putting off this introduction for a while as I've been lazy, but I've been lurking for the past year or so.
I've been looking for a clean SC for the better part of 4 years or so, and I just couldn't find one. Whenever one would pop up around me it wouldn't be running, or it had a hack job of a 1J in it. So I gave up for a while.
After some time passed by, and after owning various cars (IS300, M3, 3000GT VR4, CRX), I came to the conclusion that the next car I would buy would be the car to end all cars so to speak. I Wanted to keep my next car for a very very long time.
After searching the Club Lexus Vehicles classifieds for a while, nothing was really speaking to me. I finally found this red one with a stock 1J and black interior...though it was about 7 hours away from me. So before I went up there I wanted to talk to someone who knew these cars, this led me to my buddy Jo, or 1J0Z SC on here.
Now I remembered seeing a thread on our local forum about 2-3 years ago when he first got the SC. I couldn't help but envy him because I'd been looking for such an SC for close to 4 years...so it became the poster child of what an SC should be to me.
After talking to him about this red SC for a while, I realized it really wasn't worth the asking price nor the drive...especially because I didn't really know anything about it. But then, I was out of an SC...again. So being the impulsive person I am, I asked Jo if he'd consider a certain number for his SC. Well...that didn't go so well...as I was about 1500 or so away from his bottom dollar. SO after rushing around for a couple days and making promises that I'll never live up to a scraped together to extra change and well...the rest is history
Here is my SC; her name is Alexis .
Right now Im working on getting some bigger injectors and turning up the boost some more, and working on building a 2JZ block and a bigger turbo setup for next season. My goal for next season is aound the 750-800 hp mark. However, the sky is the limit for this car.
After many years of failed attempts and wasted money on cars, I can finally say I have what I've always wanted and im never looking back.
Anyways, so far I love this site, and I hope to get to know some of you guys alot better!
Soon im going to make a write up involving a certain Samsung Galaxy Note 2 and a Haltech standalone

It's definitely nice to start with something like this, and Im usually in the built not bought mindset. I just couldn't let this go.
