Nice parts list you go there, and i bet it wasn't cheap!
From my understanding, the ge oil pump doesn't have a place for the crank sensor. and as far as oil pressure that doesn't matter. I just talked to an authority on 1.5 builds and he told me I should get the turbo pump and take out the crank sensor wheel/gear from my 1jz and put it in the 2j. this is so that my 1jz electronics/sensors will work with the different block. so no sc300 pump I don't believe is going to work.

Watching your thread! I'm trying to build a road course/track car so I'll be referencing you on my build. Good luck! If you can elaborate more on the weight savings, I'd appreciate it.

Thanks
Jeremy

96+ all have the crank sensor on the oil pump

92-95 doesn't.

If you bought this stuff you wasted most of your money and a lot of time. 2jzge stock with arp head studs, tt gasket, 1j head and the right fuel/turbo/management holds 550 all day every day. woulda just bought the studs, fresh oil pump, gasket set and lexus oil filter/cooler union bolt to run the turbo feed. Done and done.

Wow extremely rude and unnecessary. I understand that would work. I am competing in this car and I want peace of mind and reliability. I was on a stock block last year and it was showing signs if wear. I figured this year I would make it last. So thanks for ur 2 cents but you can keep it. And go ask your mom and dad to teach you some manners.

1jz to a 2jz is a waste of time man freshen up the 1jz and put a few extra dollar into it and your power goal is right there.. and if u want super fast spool get a holset turbo.. thats my couple of cents LOL
