Hope this helps . Remember your drop will dictate the offsets you'll have to run. GL and post pics when done . Tire size is also a big factor.

Front wheel offsets

20x8.5 32-38mm
20x9 32-42mm
20x9.5 38-45mm

Rear wheel offsets

20x9.5 28-40mm
20x10 32-45mm
20x10.5 37-48mm
20x11 42-50mm
20x11.5 45-53mm

Here is an example of an old set I had 20x9 and 20x12's 30 series front and 25 series rears

You need a lower profile tire to pull it off as well so that the tires don't look so bulky. It was a night and day difference on my TL when I had 20's and went from a 35 series to a 30 series profile.

thanks.
the profile has been my biggest hangup about going 20.
i have a set of 245 with 45 profile, but like you said 'bulky' would be the word and i would like to keep the speedo calibration.
but at 30 i know i'm going to bend something up

I don't even think a 45 series tire would fit in the wheel well... I run a 40 series on my truck and it is quite a bit of meat

yea that's why i was asking runabout what size he was running on the white car depicted as it looks very close.
he answered me but didn't tell what his profile was.

personally i think 19's are the best on a SC. i just think you can go lower and fit it properally.

i believe the rear is a 275/35 and 245/40 up front. i plan to go 35 up front later. i can say tho with some trimming and working the metal yet. ive had no issues with tire rubbing. all im looking for is a kit that would be agressive.

i know it, i know it, levie and it allows more tire to give your rims a chance.
but i personally just like the TAllness that a large rim gives.
to me that puts the 'next level' to the car.
here somebody put 22's on it's next to what i believe to be 17's. (same car mind you)
he said he was going to take to 22's off at the time.

and here's garys M6 20's next to OEM 18,s.
looks better than the car they belong to... to me.
you may hae to use zoom to see it with the picture he used.
