The aftermath from my Tow Truck incident *pics*
You may remember this...
https://www.clublexus.com/forums/per...nd-at-all.html
The Tow truck company refuses to pay, saying they're not responsible for modified cars. Still working through that.
In the meantime, It's back with the stock 97+ bumper and fresh paint. No more AC front
oh well.

If that's the case then why did they still tow it then?? They'll make a lot of excuses not to pay you man, your only defense would be, they shouldn't have towed it if they had a policy of not being responsible for any damages done to a modified car seeing and knowing it's modified right from the get go.

i had a similar thing happen when i got my old car towed, when they dropped the car off to the shop, they literally DROPPED the car and cracked my lip and front mount. I called my insurance company and they made my take pics and asked a few questions. At first they pulled the car was lowered routine, i told them if the tow company thought the car was too low they should not have attempted the service. After going back and forth for a while, eventually they paid up. Its just annoying but keep pushing.

damn that sucks but they are right, they are not liable. look at your car, you need to take off the front bumper. anyone that has been really low already would know to do this before even attempting.

Hey guys, I think it would be fair enough to find out the story first before commenting. The towing guy, said he can get it on the truck without any problem, and used wood to get it on, but the the wood broke in the middle that's why it ended up like this, if I remember the story right... Anyways, regardless, if they didn't take responsibility they shouldn't have done it and refused to get it on knowing the car was modified.

yea as far as i know IF they make the choice to tow the car they are then responsible, if they thought it was too modified hes supposed to deny you, not try to load it ,,ruin it ,,then say hes not responsible.
problem is tow truck drivers are usually scummy types with ****ty attitudes so you got yourself a battle now.

That sucks. That happen to me too but they told me ahead of time that they are not responsible for any damages cause its hella low. Lucky my stock lip was polyurethane so it just kinda folded in when it went up the trunk instead of my entire bumper like your or it probably would of fell off like that too lol.
