Should I trade my wheels for Supra TT wheels? Need opinion...
Hi I'm really undecided on whether or not to trade my wheels for Supra TT wheels.
This is my car how it sits now
How it would look with Supra TT wheels
Side Shot
A guy in my area is selling his car with Supra TT wheels and I went to check his wheels out. He would do a straight up straight with me... my wheels for his. His Supra TT wheels are pretty beat up though and I'd have to have them refinished. They are not the chrome TT wheels. I'd get them refinished in hypersilver.
The reason I want the TT wheels is for better performance. They also have the stock 50mm offset. My current wheels are only 7" wide running 225/45's all around.
Thanks for your help! I'm super undecisive!

Yeah I agree weight wise it won't be an improvement. The Supra TT wheels are really wide though so it would improve handling. I'm sure TT wheels with 275s on the back would hook better than my 225s. I'm getting a high stall torque converter installed right now and I want to be able to launch properly

Yeah I'm gonna put the lexus center caps on them too. To get the aftermarket finish I want it's going to be $800 to have all of the wheels professionally straightened and paint in hypersilver. The wheels have curb rash and one of them has a lot of balance weights on it.... definitely need to be refinished. Hopefully they'll be better than new when redone. It's just the $800 which is making me reconsider doing it. But I plan to keep this car for a very long time... so why the hell not lol

I would be all over this one. I would do them in chrome NOT silver, buts that's me... Let us know what you decide to do. The TT are one of the best factory looking wheel out there.
