Default YES!!! Scored some LS400 brakes today :D

The junkyard I normally use is semi high but normally takes care of me... Well today, I picked up some 96 LS400 calipers/ rotors with 122k on calipers and unknown on rotors for a WHOOPING 35 a caliper and 10 a rotor...

SCORE! And, I had 50 dollars in credit with them so it worked perfectly. Awesome brakes for cheap.

Now for you guys to step in.... The car is royal jade pearl.... With black accents, what color should I powder coat them?!

i also scored some this past Saturday. $9 per caliper, after taxes and core charge i ended up paying only $25 for both . my SC is also a jade color but i'm thinking of just painting it either red or black.

I would suggest to install one caliper and rotor and take a few pictures. With said picture you can Photoshop different colors and see which one you like better. Good luck

I was thinking gold at first... but I'm going with that 14 dollar flip flop "mirage" green paint at lowes. That with white lexus and a metric ton of clear coat.

Great deal. You already have wheels to clear them?

, Good catch. Make sure you have at least 67mm of space from your rotor surface to the back of your spokes for clearance. This is just a general measurement, your spoke design will dictate clearances.

Stock lines, yes; however using LS4 lines is a plus it will allow you to use the alignment pin. Rotors, no, must be from an LS4 to work.
