Default Cheapest option for wheels

Hi guys
Wondering what would be the cheapest option for custom wheels on my 92 SC4. I don't like the barf alloy rims on it now, and it doesn't go with the red calipers at all. Anyway, would SC430 wheels work, or do they have their differences? Maybe other wheels, like custom black, probably not chrome... (Don't really wanna spend more than 200 bucks, but I don't want crap either...)
Any ideas?
Thanks CL

200 for each rim, or total? Or did you leave off a zero?

Just checking, we want to make sure we get it right.

I don't know if $200 will get you far. Now $200 a wheel is more of what I think of when you say cheap wheels. Maybe xxr somethings.

only set of wheels youll be able to get with 200 bucks is a set of 97-00 stock wheels which would be an upgrade to your 92 but they arent any bigger/ wider

Realistically, it's going to be hard to go cheap and not crap.

17" GS wheels would be the next step up.

Or go one step up and go "decent" and get IS wheels for about $400

You could probably find a set of XXR or Rotas with tires for cheap, if you're just daily driving it I don't think it matters if it's just a cast alloy.

For 200 though you can barely get a set of tires.

i got my xxr's for 700 and spent another 500 on tires... which i thought was cheap and a good deal, and i love my set up. as far as stock wheels you prob won't even find that cheap. i just sold my chrome, near mint, 97-00 5 spoke sc wheels with crappy tires for 280..

I guess just hit up the classifieds until you find something that's a super crackin deal...
