Hey automatic SC's, have you changed out your shifter?
well guys, im not too sure about you but im REALLY tired of my factory shifter. Has anyone changed it with something else? id really like to see what other options i have. please post lots of pics

Here's the 98+ gated factory shifter. Not the best picture of the shifter, but it's like the only interior shot I have. I've debated swapping ***** myself, but I haven't found anything that I really like, nor do I know the proper size/thread needed...

All the cool 90s automatics used the donkey scholong the SC has.
I can tell you the LS400 shift **** doesn't fit our shifter. I have the whole shifter assembly so I may try that later on.

Well has anyone simply changed their "dild-o-matic" ****, for one that looks more like the 98's wooden style?
It doesn't have to be that very shifter (which doesn't even match the rest of the wood color anyway), just a similar one only.
I think that would still look way better, even without the gated housing, than the normal shifter.
My question is, if you do change your shifter, or go with the gated '98, what happens to the Overdrive button?
