Mayrun tires; thanks lrd
...soooo, usually I don't skimp when it comes to brakes and tires, but I did some research on some tires called "Mayrun" and they are Continental tire knock-offs. I gave LRD a holla and he gave me a price quote on some 19's that was unbelievable in comparison to the 19" Michelin's I am use to...I thought to myself that it couldn't be that great of tire, but I went out on a limb and got em...
SO, after all the wind and rain we've had, I have had plenty of test miles on them (i've put about 300 miles on them so far and just got them a week and a half ago) for both dry and wet weather. Lemme tell you these tires are sticky when they need to be and as of Tropical Storm Issac, they cut through the water as well. They are like a God-sent! To top it all, they are 100 times quieter than the Nexen's I had when I was running 18"
Bottom line, you guys need to cop these if you are in need of some new tires. Call/PM LRD (John) for more info...all I can give you is my review of what I have experienced and after driving around yesterday in that storm and flying by everyone on the expressway with ease (and not even hydroplaning), I give these joints two thumbs up.
Thanks, John....I will never doubt you again.
