Default Solara style similar to sc

I probably get flamed on this but oh well. Any one thinks the 99-03 has a similar body style? I was thinking it might share some parts with it?

Going down the road at a high rate of speed from a distance, it might look like it, but sitting side by side, no way shape or form, IMO. Even the old Ford Escorts, unsure of years, looks like our cars from the front, due to the headlights look bubbly.

my friends mom drives a solara... she also wears leopard print clothing and has pictures of jungle animals all over her house...

Yes. You are correct. The solaras also came with the 2jzge but they had a different transmission to power the front wheels instead of the rear wheels. The chassis, suspension, and interior are all exactly the same though. One thing that was nice about the solaras is that they had Supra TT brakes from the factory.

6000 posts and you think a straight 6 can fit in a FWD car?
Sounds as absurb as the original post
  • F Badges on SCs
  • Heating up springs to lower your SC
  • Now the Solara looks like the SC

Are CL members trying bath salts these days?

The Solara is a nice car but I only see a few similarities. The window shape and trim look similar from a distance. I bet the steering wheels and airbags are interchangable. The wood trim pieces are placed in familiar places and the door panels look close. The front seats might be a direct swap.
