LOL time for mega quote, and to whoever doesnt like it i know everyone has their own opinion. but i found this better than having a bunch of mismatch parts burgundy and royal jade doesnt flow together real well, plus when I want to get it painted it just peels off.

Other body parts, I have waiting to be installed are 97+ trunk with spoiler, 97+ rear bumper/extensions, 97+ tailights, driverside fender, Exclusive/Erebuni front lip. Still need to fid either 97+ sides or aftermarket.

Mine is one, people have issues when they done do it right. I wash my car at a selfwash place, that has a pressure wash and i scrub it with the brush too.

I like the plastidip thing but I like matte bright colors reds/blues/oranges.
I want to do white also. Thats what i wanted to get at first but I decided to try this first.

what did your car look like before, like if the paint was fine, id personally just leave it glossy, i think it looks better. but if your car was like four different shades of colour, plasti dip isn't a bad idea. my friend did his soarer matte white, turned out pretty good.

My car would have been atleast 3-4 different colors.

Cars original color is royal jade green aka dark green/blueish color
My 95-96 front bumper is black
DS fender would be burgundy
97+ rear bumper/extensiions are burgundy
97+ Spoiler/trunk combo would be burgundy
exclusive/erebuni lip would be navy blue

so the best option to not be all wierd colored was plastidip. ahah

Yeah plastidip sounds much better than all those colors.
I heard the latest craze is to Plasti-Dip first, and then lay down a layer of paint on top of it.

Its definitely a different look than most peoples SC's, but I think it has a neat look.

Plasti Dip has their Metalizer (gold, silver) which act kind of like paint. I'd be interested to see how it would come out on someone's SC.

They have been giving me the run around too. I placed my order on monday, called them on tuesday to see if they knew when it would ship. They told me its on back order but they are getting more in and my order should ship by thurs/fri. Today i called them back and they told me oh there were other orders ahead of yours and so when the back ordered shipment comes in, they still might not be able to ship mine since they have to ship those orders first.

Then i asked them, if its on backorder and you cant give me an ETA on when its going to ship, why did you charge my CC on monday? And he goes on to say how they dont have an inventory system to track inventory and back orders so everything gets charged as soon as the order is placed.

Crossing my fingers that these guys aren't as bad as it seems they might be...

I am definitely doing this to my 300. My car has about 5 different colors as well and I don't plan on spending thousands on a paint job for a car that I'll only keep for another 2-3 years.

Also how long do these paint jobs last? When do they start to peel? Are they bad during the winter time?
