Default Carbon Fiber and Daily Driving?

Hey guys, I was wondering when changing to carbon fiber will their be any "luxury" lost. I'm talking about if we do end up getting hoods, doors, and trunks in carbon fiber. Will there be more road noise? Also is if fine carbon fiber to "see" snow? I was just curious about this. Thanks inadvance!

I noticed more engine noise when I got my CF hood on my Maxima, slight but noticeable, and doors and stuff I'm sure you will notice it more... BUT just add some dynamat

But wouldn't you have to add more sound deadening then it had before which would increase the weight and possibly bring it back to its original weight?? I know dynamat weighs quiet a bit. Thanks inadvance

aftermarket sound deadening is better than stock, so you could get away with using less of it if you do a very professional job (takes to frickin long to dynamat anything properly for us impatient types)

I dont really think it would bother me, the hood didnt bother me, I dont mind hearin a bit more of the motor... road noise is another story... but with coilovers and big rims/tires... you get used to road noise

why the heck would you want carbon fiber doors for a daily driven?

Are you going to be painting it or leaving as is?

I would definetly be painting it. I wouldn't ever leave it showing since it would definetly lose its luxurious appeal. The last shot is definetly the best.

i have had my CF hood for quite awhile, and i didnt really notice much more noise, but i would imagine that doors and rear hatches/trunks would....

if i get a black one, i am going hood and trunk in CF, i already have my mind made up, anything else is still in the air

good luck with your decision

Carbon Fiber hood and trunk would be cool. I like Emeralds setup, very clean... As for the carbon fiber doors, that is a different story, only unless you really need it...
