Default all fixed

Well it took a lot longer than expected but came out great, got a good deal on it and didnt deal with insurance.

Also got the hood painted because it was stained with bug guts in the clear coat.

I would say about $500 worth of damage
Black is very easy to work with and can blend in
If it was a metallic color, it would be more difficult.

I'm pretty sure a good Paintless Dent Repair man can fix that. I've seen worst, that a PDR man repaired to perfect condition. No BS.

Geesh that sucks...If I could remember you just bought the wheels and coil-overs to lower it like last week or two weeks ago smh. I'd make him buy me a new SC.

Sorry to hear that I have a dent in the same place (about twice as bad though) and was just quoted 3k to put on a new fender and do paint matching all the way around. I'm obv not going to pay that but it's still an expensive area.

he scraped the body line that goes through the car, usually means it needs a quarter panel but it doesn't look terrible so they may be able to work with the old quarter panel. I know when i damaged my quarter panel none of the shops said they could repair the panel as the body line that goes through the length of the car is hard to duplicate. It's all up to the body shop you choose in the end.

Yeah im not stressing too much about it since he does have good insurance. **** happends, Its gunna be fixed and its a shame it had to happen to such a nice car is what my dad says.

Im surprised his RX has only a few scratches on the bumper, prolly buff right out lol... Biggest buzz kill tho is my J magic kit shipped out yesterday from extreme dimensions, least the paint will all match perfectly now

That's not too bad.

Body work and Painting matching from a very experienced autobody painter of mines won't even break the over $600. If you were in locally, I'd hook you up with that price.

only hard part is paint matching really.. thats easily accessed from the trunk so it can mostly be pounded out/pulled.

My PDR guy said the rear quarters on these cars are a pain in the *** to work on, mainly because they're almost solid sheetmetal. To get a nickel-sized ding out of mine, he had to take the wheel off and get in from the wheel-well. It can definitely be fixed, but PDR will probably be expensive and difficult. That sucks to see, but good luck and hope you get it fixed soon!
