So long, SC people..
Well, unfortunately, after 8 great years of reliable service, my SC300 is dead. A utility pole fell on her while I was out of town - completely destroyed. All is not lost, though. The insurance has paid out already and I am staying in the Lexus family, albeit with a different model.
Now - the question is this: Should I purchase a 2004/2005 ES330, or go for a little older model GS430? I realize the differences between the two, but I'm torn between the power of the 1UZ and the economy/updated engine components of the 3.3L V6 in the ES.
Can anyone with any experience on these other models chime in? What will my best move from the SC (which I loved so dearly) be? As sad as I am to see the SC go, I'm excited about moving up in the Lexus world. I'd also take this opportunity to thank this forum for all of the valuable information I've collected here over the years. While I'm not the most active member in posts, I always have my ear to the ClubLexus stone.
Edit: Here's a cell phone teaser until I get my digital camera back from my other home.

i would go GS. i don't have personally experience but from reading all the other forums on here a lot of the GS owners will say when they test drove a ES or they were given a ES as a loaner car while their GS's were given a service that in their opinions the ES still felt like a toyota and not enough lexus and luxurious
