Your very first impression the first time you ever met an SC
Way back in 2002 I found my SC on a buddies car lot and took it for a spin. Black with tan interior, the very first thing I thought when I sat down was "WOW there is a lot of beige in this car" LOL. The door panels, carpet, console, dash, seats all matched and were all one color and it looked like a cream box I was sitting in. I will always remember that thought because the little strip of wood didn't seem to break up all that cream at all. It ran well, felt a little heavy. Looked BEAUTIFUL. I decided it was for me.
Was there something about your car that made a first impression when you sat in it and walked around it the first time you saw it?

First thing I did was almost tear the door off when opening it. I noticed the hilariously large, complicated hinge and wondered why the heck they didn't design more travel into it so the door would actually open an appreciable amount.

I remember when I was looking to sell my first car, my Cavalier convertible, and I saw a modified renaissance red SC400, lowered on 18s with a nice exhaust and I fell in love. It took me almost 2 months to track down a car in my price range that I'd be happy with, and I love it every time I open the garage door and see it sitting there. Although I wish a) the seats went down a little more, as I'm 6'2" and my head rubs the headliner a little, lol and b) the damn doors opened up more, haha

I thought they were so sexy. I first saw one when I was a car show judge at hot imports nights in the east coast region long time ago. A guy I knew from Atlanta had a red drift sc he wanted to roll into the show. Damn that started my facination with them. Took 10 years to actually get into one though. LOL

I bought my first one in 2000. At the time I was driving a sunfire. I was blown away by the luxury and quality as I had never been in a luxury car, and so my love affair with Luxury cars began lol.

I was tired of driving a ford focus that was my first car. It was terribly slow and unattractive. The past couple months I've seen this red sc 5spd for sale in my area for 8k. I was bored one day and went to go check it out. As soon as I saw it, I had to have it. Guy gave me the carfax and it was a 1 owner corporate lease and that sealed the deal. I got him down to 6k cuz it needed a new clutch badly. Put my focus on autotrader the same day for 7k. Literally the next morning someone offered me 6k and I went to buy the sc I have today. Excluding dealer fees, tax etc. I basically traded my pos focus for a 96 5spd sc

I saw them at tower shops a few years back in Davie Fl, and just thought the car looked real nice. Esp Lex4life's which has inspired me to get one.
Two years ago.....it wasnt till i bought mine for $2K that i realized ..this is a comfortable car. Almost as good as my E55.
Then you add all the aftermarket support, used parts market, and it's reliable. Well I was sold.
I get complimented on it every where i go! Gas station fill ups are always a conversation topic.
I bump into people from all walks of life with this car. To the old guy who's a widower/original owner to the kid in a hoodie who dying to put 20" Ashanti's and put a system in. It's amazing the demographics that come with this car.
Best of all it even gets me in for free at the Panther's games in the Lexus Lot.
