I have no choice because my wire harness is shot and bulbs are rusted to the sockets. apparently there was some moisture inside the lens that caused this and i am having problems finding another set of factory lens. right now my only option is to just go ahead and upgrade because the spyder lights come with bulbs and new wire harness.

no need to make fun of the guy.... im pretty sure this is why so many of the older SC owners no longer post here because of the comments like the ones above.
anyway,
there are two different ebay tails... supra reps or the red and clear ones. if you are short on money look into the red/clear tails maybe get the tinted ones they don't look to bad imo with a white or darker colored car.

No need to justify your purchase. Any car that isn't slammed into a caricature of itself with tires stretched like a fat woman's bikini gets laughed at around here. These people didn't buy your car or put the money into it so you do whatever you want to.
I also needed new tails due to damage and wasn't about to pay $200 for somebody's 20 year old pieces when I only paid $800 for the whole damn car. I have noticed that many of the usual tails aren't on ebay right now for some reason. I don't know if they are no longer made or they're just out of stock. Your options might be pretty limited.
My nerdy ride: (emblems have since been sprayed silver)
