Default Wide body wheel and tire fitment???

Does anyone know what width of tire i can use on a Vertex ridge widebody? i searched it and all i got was stock body wheel fitment. Im hoping at least 10" wide rear tires are possible with rear fitment.

There's people here with stock body SC's fitting 12" wide rims with 315/xx/xx tires (315mm is equivalent to just shy of 12.5" wide)

lol, not to sound cocky here but 10" is really small. Im running 11's in front and 12's in the rear with all negitive offsets.

Its not so much the width that you need to focus on but the Offsets of the wheels you are trying to fit.

Haha I have a 10.5 on my rear and it still tucks on stock body no pull. Roll only. 12 or 13 with low offsets. Your gonna need a custom 3piece wheel. Check jdmuscle or kohiner build threads. They are both widebody

Because I doubt your going to find a 1piece or 2 piece with a decent offset for a widebody kit. A 3 piece allows him to have the face he wants and allows him to pick the width and offset best suited for widebody!

on the ridge kit I could fit a 18x13.5 with a 5 off set and still be fine and still have room to go more inward toward the coilover.

I run 19x11.5 -30 in the back of my car now with the ridge kit.

If your having to save up for the ridge kit forget the kit since you probably wont be able to afford the wheels for a while either.

Im not set 100% on the ridge kit itself but from what i read i thought stock bodies could only do 245 width tire. every tire fitment post i seen they had wide rims but stretched 245s to fit the rim. good to know i can fit 315 if i wanted. Really all I want is a 275-285 width tire. I just had in my mind that i needed to go wide body to get wider then 245 width tires.

you could probably go up to a 405 with the ridge or missle widebody. but, everything depends on the width and offset.

guys also need tot take into consideration camber to. You want mad hellaflush look or BEEF man sized tires and the correct suspension geometry. That will make a huge difference as 1* of camber was about 5mm of offset if I remember correctly

If all you want is a 285 just stay stock body. I run a 305/30/19 with a mild pull.
