295-50-16, will they fit?
I would like to pick up a set of mickey thompson 295/50/16in tires to go on my FD rims which are 16X8 (8in is approved by MT for this) with an ET of 50. The fenders are already rolled and I have longer studs installed if a spacer is required.
Anybody try this setup on an SC?

I run 275 / 45 / 17 which obviously is thinner but I have a whole bunch of room in the wheel well, if your ride height isn't too low I can't imagine it being tooooooooo bad
I'm guessing you are ordering online and not going to a shop? Shop would happily test fit for you

Putting a 295 on such a narrow wheel is going to yield minimal gains. When looking for a drag package, the tire width becomes secondary to sidewall height.
To give you some perspective, we run a 295/55/15 on 15 x 10 wheels. It has no problems putting down 1100+ whp, from a second gear roll of course. You will get quite a bit of mushrooming with a 295 on the 8 inch wheel, that causes a lot of the thread to roll an not contact the road surface, rendering the extra section width useless.
We've gotten a 28 x 10.5/15 MT ET Drag to fit on a stock body SC. Fenders were trimmed.
