it maybe??? I found this pic from a site when I was searching for SC kits... Im looking for something similar to this, not to flashy, but give my car the appearence of sitting a bit lower... Im not looking for a riced out kit or anything... I want something that looks sort of euro, sort of executive and non-chelaunt.

Yea I think it is hte Auto Colture kit, they run around 2000-2500. I was planning on gettin this kit but after shipping and everything else its just going to cost to much. Plus its also fiberglass so if you crack it you have to get it fix. So I opted to go with the complete 97-00 conversion.

The AC kit is a nice kit though.

Thats a pretty nice looking SC. I think the kit makes the car look kinda like a ferrari. Maybe its just the wheels I dont know. I like it though. Its not over done but it still stands out. . Maybe I'm just seeing things but oh well. I still like the kit though.

They are talking about converting their pre97 SC's to look like they are at 97-00.

On a different thread, it has been discussed that the AC kit requires the 97+ kit.

i have the 97+ front bumper and i put the 92 front lip spoiler on the 97, i cut it in a half, and used a flexible bondo type of material, and it looks a lot like the front of that body kit, i think its the cheapest and best way to do it, it really looks great

Ok, I'm going to clear a few things up...

AutoCouture is just a LABEL under Evolution Co. They also produce a SC/Soarer kit under the labels EXPLOSION and SIGNATURE. Honestly, I think the AutoCouture is the best looking kit out of most of the SC/Soarer kits (made by all companies). The Other nice ones are Target and T&E Vertex.

To do the Autocouture kit, you need roughly the following:

1) '97+ Front Grille
2) '97+ Fog Lights
3) '97+ Door Molding (on the bottom of the door...painted)
4) Some clips and stuff...

That's about it. Now if you want to do the '97 CONVERSION, you need all those parts PLUS:

1) Front bumper
2) Side Skirts
3) Rear Bumper
4) Rear Quarter Panel Side Skirts
5) Tail Lights (you might want to do this on the AutoCouture kit)

Now if you do the tail lights, you'll need the '97+ Flasher Relay and I'm still trying to figure out the deal on the '97 Tail Light Failure Sensor...

And through Steve Ganz's group buy, the AutoCouture kit is only $1900 or so....and you're LUCKY it's fiberglass cuz if you do crack it, you CAN fix it. If it's polyurathane, if you mess it up bad, you have to REPLACE it.

Also, unlike PIECE OF CRAP VIS kits, the AutoCouture kit fits nice AND it's consistant!

And yes, this HAS been discussed many times...you can do a SEARCH to look for it...just type in AutoCouture and you should see quite a few threads.

Also, if you do the AutoCouture kit or most other aftermarket kits, you'll probably want to do some sort of exhaust because the stock ones will look COMPLETLEY pathetic with the kits...and with the AutoCouture kit, the exhaust sits INSIDE the body kit...not very attractive...
