You can unscrew them with like four bolts but I don't think anything at the dealership is 20$. Even the keychains start in that price range. Maybe Carson is different though

Sorry guys, that part you linked to is the weatherstripping. It is NOT the trim piece because it is NOT a removable part. You can replace the whole window trim piece but the parts that peels & fades is not separate.

I'm tempted to get the ebay part, spray it the right color, and then apply it over my bad pillars. It sure beats trying to strip & spray the stock piece while it's still on the car, and it's a lot less labor than removing the the trim.

They arent too shabby. Better improvement over stock anyway. I am anxious to see how they hold up in the sun.

I just got mine and they are pretty thick. They will look retarded of I just stick them over the faded pillars.

I got my money refunded. I'm going to repaint mine, I told the seller that I wouldn't put them on my car because they look so out of place.

That diagram shows the inner tracks for the window slides with those part numbers.

and i totally understand sir. they are fairly thick (id say approximately 8 mm or so) but most of thats the adhesive and id rather something overly thick rather than too thin and warping immediately. i suppose theyre noticeable if youre looking for it but from 2 ft away or from an untrained eye they look great to me.

theyll hold me over until im ready to paint the whole car....but yea i definitely understand where youre coming from with that.
