I have Esurance. Hopefully thats what they follow too. According to the clean retail description, my car would be worth 8,700! I hope I get anywhere close to that

UPDATE: So his insurance gave about $4000 clean worth of damages therefore not totaling my car, however, I didnt take the car to a body shop for full inspection where there it would for sure be deemed a total loss. Reason I didnt do that was because I wasnt allowed more than $5000 in total from his insurance for a long list of reasons (not going to mention) so I just took the 4 grand.

My next question is .. What should I do with the money? here are my options:

1) Fix the car
2) Sell the car and use that money along with the 4 grand to buy another SC.
3) Part the car and use that money along with the 4 grand to buy another SC.
4) Keep the car and save up for another SC and use the car for parts if needed.

All opinions are welcome

Idk it depends on what type of car bug you got?
Boost?
Hellaflush?
Drift?
Etc..
And what actually bent with that impact?

I would see how much its going to cost to fix everything first. If its a crazy amount then i would just sell it and use the 4grand plus the amount that you sell your car for and get another sc or get an IS300 and join the club haha.

Repair it I guess but you need to get that hood open to check inside... From what you are showing me just push the bottom of your fender in and the door will open. Seems as if the door cannot swing over the fender like it should... Take off the bumper support and the bumper and get a look at the main support... If it's not bent and in good shape then replace the fenders, bumper support, bar, bumper cover and headlights along with the fenders and be done with it...

Have you still not gotten the hood open? If not...I'd do that to help better make a decision. From there we can choose option 1 or 2. Unless you like parting out cars and mailing all over the nation then I'd say 3 is a lot of trouble on top of the wreck.

i would say just sell it and get a new sc, , i had damage on the drivers side front similar to yours, but a little less damage. It still shifted the front end over slightly make my hood rub on my passenger fender. That fender door gap makes me think yours got pushed over a good amount.

Not sure if you have gotten the hood open yet, if not, you should so you can see how much stuff moved around. If its stuck after popping it, just get your finger slightly under it near the weather stripping or something and pull up, it shouldn't be that stuck.

Appreciate the feedback from everyone, Its funny cause yesterday morning someone came to my house asking to buy the car. Its an older gentleman, he was looking to buy a crashed vehicle for cheap in hopes of fixing it is what he told me. Seems like he might take it for $2000 without the exhaust, rims or brakes i installed.

I think thats a good deal? Or am I just being impatient

Option 2 with all the information listed so far and $2000 for a totaled Sc is not bad at all.

Na the car isn't totaled. i was given $4000 just for damages. meaning car isn't totaled. 6 grand doesn't seem bad especially if i put a couple grand on top of that.
