Some new pics...
I've been doing DIY tutorials for CL all day and thought I'd snap some pics of the foglights since some of you were asking before. Once again these are the Narva 85w H3 fog bulbs. In person they are as yellow as any GS400/430 foglights you see and just as bright.

$16 each and no damage noticed thus far.
Lex, thanks for the pics and update! You seem to be concerned with the possible damage. Is the 85w that hotter that the OEM 55w?

A few years ago I had 85watt h3's in my 2nd gen integra. Lets just say it melted the plastic. Does Lexus foglights use high quality plastic? If so, where do I order a set?

Howie, me too. I tried looking for some decent yellow 55w H3s, but to no avail. If you want these 85w bulbs to run at 55w, all you need is a 4.53-ohm resistor (or even 4-ohm) wired inline with the H3 circuit (positive or negative end won't matter). I looked at the Rat Shack, the Circuit City service center, and the Best Buy service center, and I couldn't find a simple resistor! Rat Shack didn't carry them and BBSC and CCSC told me they don't sell parts to the public . You could probably find some online though...
