Default do you run fender liner or not

I dont believe in slamming my car to the ground as im more of a form over function guy. regardless i take the necessary precautions of relocating my harness into the engine on all lowered cars.

My question is do you guys run with the fender liner in or out? I usually dont like the rubbing noise, so on my s13s/14s i take them out. but im noticing some of the wiring would be exposed to precipitation (in arizona LOL RIGHT?) so im on the fence.

inform me on what you guys do.

I relocated my harness into the engine bay and wrap it in some electric tapebefore I lowered my car. I was running with my liners, until i hit a dip in the road and it flew off. Since then, I rose my car about a half an inch and put new liners back in. Usually, I don't care for the liners. but for some reason, on the sc, it jut looks funny with out the liners. Just my 2¥

On my SC I have the top middle part of the liner cut out on both sides. But left the front and rear on. So u can't tell it's trimmed when looking at the car.

You need the sides of the liners to make it look right, but I'd cut the tops out if I were lowered an it was an issue.

wow i was just thinking about this today! when spring comes around ill be putting my rims on and i think theyre goin to rub the front liner since my factory wheels are pretty close. but i was wondering if you remove the front wheel liners will that harm anything under there? i know a lot of people do it but does it damage anything in the long run.. like will wires start to corrode from being exposed to rain, snow, and ice? cars come with this for a reason other than looks, right?

I took mine out. Only the fog light cover is left. I wish I would've just left it in and cut out the part that was rubbing.

i was going like 60 on the freeway and a dip out of no where ripped both of mine out. I agree just cut off the top so you dont have junk flying at your harness/inner fender

Ive ran with them out for about 7 months now and it doesnt get all that dirty in the wheel well area. The main reason i took them out was because i was rubbing the bolts that were holding the liner to the car.

I relocated my harness in the engine bay before I installed my coilovers. And I removed all my liners once everything was installed. It's been like this for about 2 years. I haven't had any problem.

I removed the windshield washer fluid bottle also because it never worked. Some people complain that it wouldn't look good with the bottle too but if you have aggressive fitted wheels, then you won't see it anyways.

I drive my car through any weather down here in Florida without any problem.
