Question SC300 Power Door Locks

I have a 1995 SC300 with a power door lock problem. I've searched through the forum and found one similar problem which turned out to be a fuse. My fuses are fine I wish the solution could have been a fuse.

Neither my driver's door nor passenger door lock buttons work. When I use my keyless entry I can hear an electrical noise but the lock buttons do not flip.

I found some threads that suggest the actuator is bad, but the symptoms for those posts were a little different than mine. In those posts it was one door or the other, my problem is with both doors.

Also around the same time my door locks stopped working, the seat memory buttons stopped working and the steering wheel does not consistently adjust up or down when I get in and out of the car.

I'm not sure if these items are related, but thought I would mention everything that might be relevant.

I would really appreciate any suggestions to fix this. Thank you!!

Frustrated

Check connections on the underside of the of the window switch, make sure stuffs plugged in all the way. As for the column, it's an easy fix. There's a write up on here but basically, you need to take off the cover, pull out the little cog wheel and shim it and put it back.

get a $3 test light from autozone and check for power at the switch. once u verify power or lack of power u can get a copy of the service manual (google SC BIBLE) and go from there

Most people end up tracing all door issues (speakers, locks, mirrors, window, etc) to broken wires in the door harness right where the bend is in the door. One of my SC's is having an intermittent speaker issue due to this very issue. Fortunately I have a spare harness and don't have to fool with patching it.
