Question Opinions! BMW to Lexus SC

So here is my situation. I am a BMW enthusiast, and am currently in a 2000 540i 6SPD. I had it up for sale and have someone with a 92 SC300 with 2JZ-GTE swap with lots done to it. Pushing 416RWHP. Down side its automatic. 54K miles on it. I am in a 2000 540i with 183k miles but rebuilt motor, and entire cooling system is new, clutch and soo much more all OEM. Its a straight trade. What do you guys think?

tough call ,,,,we need pics and more details.

In general though Id stay away from cars with swapped motors and high hp, ,,,people dont build fast cars to baby them .

Chances are the sc has been abused.

He had the swap done at a shop who specializes in swaps. He has two of them and said he knows these really good. But from what I hear the 2JZ motors are solid motors, I mean compared to the 3.0L Inline-6 from BMW, they 2JZs are tanks. He said its well taken care. I want to do a compression test and check for leaks. Which are my biggest concern.

big chance that it has been abused, depending on the condition of both cars I would keep the BMW unless the SC is in tip top shape.

Pics of car suck. Motor one is good. Has new timing belt, waterpump, and serp belt. New Garrett Turbo with warranty.

Its quick enough. Handles awesome. Just put a bigger rear end in it.

Personally, if the tests come out well, I'd go for the SC for sure.

The motor doesn't look mickey moused so you know its good.

Looks like a 92-94. If you do pick it up make sure you get a nice aero kit / 97 kit to hide the FMIC better.

hmm i dunno. you mentioned that the sc was still auto, correct? if so i think that would keep me away from it. that tranny wouldn't last long at that much power.
