New Guy here
Well as title says I'm new around these parts and as my SN shows I'm hoping to be the proud owner of a sc300 in the very near future and since I come form the land of Nissans I figured this would be a good place for me to be.

Hey what's up everybody! Im DeJay, I just recently bought my first rear wheel drive car,a 1993 SC300,auto,Onyx Black with tan interior and I just wanna say that I am excited for finally leaving the Honda world! All my buddies here in Baton Rouge,LA have 240's. I have all hopes and plans on drifting my car and would like to get help on where to find good parts and what is good parts. Once again... My first non-Honda! I plan on doing the 1JZ swap ASAP but for now I think I'm gonna just sport the 2J and have sum fun. Well I plan to make a few friends here and hopefully I'll hear from you guys!

New to Lexus
Just picked (week or so ago) up and 1992 SC 400 with 130,+++ miles loved it until the power steering issue went from "it just needs power steering fluid" to the rack/pump and hoses all need to be replaced oh and the expansion tank too (water pump and belt have been repaired).... other than that the car drives great and the interior is in great condition. Hopefully once I sort out theses issues i can truly enjoy the car.

Hello everyone! My name's Dustin. I'm checking in after looking through multiple times over the years. I owned an ES300 in the late 90's and have recently purchased and stripped a 96 SC400. First things first, before I possibly get a few peoples blood rate up. I know enough to have some extraordinary ideas and plan for this to take a while but don't have a ton of wrench time on cars. I was a helicopter mechanic. However the strip went very fast and was a ton of fun!
Now, the plan is cutting the top with a large thin oval rolled steel roll bar along with some cutting and caging of the remainder of the car. I would like to see a built and well programmed 1GZ-FE. I don't know whether removing VVT-I is possible or makes sense..... From the little I've browsed it seems some form of the T-56 is a good move. It will be boosted for sure. I've imagined sequential. The exciting part in my mind is the cooling. This to me is if Lexus had taken a much larger step past the Supra towards supercar. I had thought intercooler in the front and radiator in the rear to make good use of the made space because it's a convertible. I'm not interested in a top. The trunk will be somewhat fixed. I'd really like to see it with an actuated spoiler. There's a million more little wants for the car. I really don't plan to start on this until I've tossed it's 1UZ into some Toyota 4x4. However, it's time to start working on research and there's a lot I'm looking forward to learning from y'all!

Hey guys, the names Gus, I've posted here before but my old account is long been dead so I'm coming back in fresh! I own a Silver '99 SC300 with 33k miles on it (runs like a charm). It's been a year since I've owned my car and I just have to say, no other car is for me besides my SC, (kinda rhymes!) Anyways, hopefully soon I'll be able to begin posting the mods that I will be doing to my baby and I hope you guys will follow and enjoy it as much as I will!

Hi my name is Zack, I am new here but not to the car forum scene.I have had a few Toyota's in my life and loved them all! Starting with a 89 Toyota Cressida with the good ole 7MGE I also had an 81 Toyota Tercel with the little 3A-C and a 89 mk3 Supra with the 7MGTE fun car! I just picked up a 92 SC 400 1UZFE and LOVE this car!! I traded a 96 Pontiac Sunfire (my daily driver) for the Lexus straight across, I could not pass that up LOL. It has 158k miles and runs sound.I have been building cars for a long time. I am also a big Pontiac fan I have a highly modded 99 GrandPrix GTP that runs mid 11s as of now.I am VERY interested in what some good mods are for the SC please let me know !

Proud Lexus Owner
Well as of next weekend, My search and wait is finally over. I am traveling From El Paso, TX all the way to Georgia to pick up my SC.
I lucked out and found a 92 near mint condition 5 Speed with less than 100,000. The trip is really worth it. I have been searching for a nice SC like this for weeks now.
My new Pride and Joy....
