#4636
I've been a long time member here =D I had a 92 SC400 back in the days and lost her. =(
Now fast forward 10 years, and here i am! I'm Back! Just picked up a 1998 SC300 Black/Black!
Plans? I'm going to do all the maintenance first! replace the torn leather! both driver and passenger!
Then onto suspension and wheels! =D feels great being back!

Hello all - I'm Patrick - I've only been lurking around over the last couple of years and never really introduced myself
My (ex)wife and I picked up our girl back over 10 years ago - I've put a LOT of blood sweat and tears into her
I've replace 90% of the suspension, massaged the stock air box to get better cold air and upgraded the main engine wiring harness twice - otherwise shes a regular stock cruiser in need of more TLC and hopefully new paint in the near future
Now that I have my girl back on the road from a junk timing belt install, she's all mine!
Engine bay as she sits now with salvage LS covers - 256k miles and still running strong!
Interior in need of more TLC

When I originally redid the wiring harness, I relocated the 3 main sensors and the diagnostic port to the firewall
This cleaned up the top of the motor real well - not to mention the cleaning I did while I was working on it over the last 6 months
Those are Monte Titano MT7 rims in 19x8, with Pirelli Cinturato P7 235/40/19s - stock ride height with KYB G-Force struts
They just clear the front inner fender liners
Got a pretty good deal on them too - they were second hand but brand new, still in the wrapper
The are supposedly +55 on the offset, but I don't believe it

Just bought this one........... 79k miles.
Need to get it towed 400 feet today.
Owned by a female senior 5 doors down.
Has been sitting in the same spot since 2007.
Was running when parked. Should be an adventure.
Filled the tires, replaced the batt. But as its sat so long will need some work to get up and running.
Plan to clean everything 1st. Super dingy from sitting out.
But rust free & all orig.
Is there a free online manual anywhere? I searched here and struck out. Thanks!

Hey guys! I'm Rob and I've been lurking this forum for info for about a year. After a ton of research and being patient, last night, I finally made one of my 'dream car own's' a reality. I was able to acquire an all original, 143k mile gold SC400. I've always wanted an SC since I was a kid but never saw myself in a 400, but as of late, I felt the 400 fit the bill better to suite my needs. This is a completely new platform for me than I'm used to lol but I'm very much looking forward to learning as much as I can and enjoy this car as much as I can. It's in really great shape. The typical power steering fluid leak is there(havnt gotten the chance to diag fully yet), and the main cluster needles are out. Feels like the front struts are bad, and there's a misfire under light-moderate load between 1200-2000rpms while cruising around 40-50mph. But other than that she's in great shape! Lmao I'm really excited to do more research and get her running 100% mechanically again. I look forward to being an active member and sharing as much knowledge as I possibly can from my experiences. Pics coming when I get to it lol

Hey Everyone,
I own a 1997 SC400. I found this forum earlier after looking for a solution to my broken passenger door. Just ordered the part and excited to finally get that fixed. Seems like a great community here and I'm hoping to learn more and have a good time.

Hi, i'm Aaron. I've owned my sc3 for 2 months now, and she's had a rough 2 months. she started off in OK shape. Now she's got a welded diff, window weld bushings, stripped interior, redneck abs delete, cut & modded knuckles, 4 tires with wires showing, alignment issues, chopped springs, a slight trans leak, a slight oil leak, intermittent ps, and a couple sockets modified to keep the steering rack in place. Probably a few things i'm missing, but I think you'll all get the idea......My name is Aaron, and I have a "drift cheap car as cheap as possible" problem. Hi guys!

New to the Lexus world
Hey everyone! Aaron here from Northern California. I just got a 1995 SC300 automatic w/126000 on it. I didn't pay anything for it, so that is a plus. The paint and body are in really great condition, the motor and transmission seem to be ok also. The leather seats are trashed but I have already ordered replacement seat covers from leatherseats.com. I am pretty excited to have my first Lexus. I am more of a German car guy, I have two Mercedes ('82 240D and '86 560SEL and three VW's ('71 bug, '74 bus and '77 bus).
I am not really sure what I want to do with it. I will either keep it or sell it. I really like the lowered look of some SC300's and would like to go in that direction if I keep it. I went to an after market shop to see what his cost would be to do some of the things that I like, crazy out of this world prices.
I will post some pics later.
Thanks for reading!
