Made The Switch
Hey everyone, Ryan here from Southern California! Haven't had a project in some time now (6 years) all I've ever had before is Nissan S chassis and so I'm very excited to dive into a new chassis and a SC300 to top it off. I've been a lurker for a very long time and when a friend offered me a 93 sc300 with 137,xxx miles I jumped on it. I couldn't pass it up at $450!! 😎 She's pretty straight other than a few songs and very sun damaged paint. Found a maintenance sticker from 08 and according to the odometer she's been driven 300+/- miles since then. Rats are the spark plug wires and fuel pump showed no signs of life. I replaced the obvious parts and boom she fired right up. Assuming the engine is health I plan to daily this vehicle and get some track time as well. I will be doing a 5spd swap ASAP. Looking forward to taking advantage of this community.

1993 sc300 5 speed
Hey CL
Just picked up this gem out in California. Pretty sure he was a member as he told me of his 4 or 5 other supras an scs. One sc which was a 2zgte vvti swap that was unfortunately totaled.
Its a 93 sc300 5 speed with 122000 miles. Bone stock except for the 97+ tail lights and a sc400 front lip.
Paint is in surprisingly good shape. Silver spruce metallic. Can't wait to see what it looks like all waxed and polished.
Interior has some cracks here and there but nothing huge. Dash needles don't work, radio can be a little funny, and the lcd on the hvac system is bleeding. Luckily the seller threw in a working hvac unit that should be an easy install.
Plan on keeping it stock for at least a year with boost in its future. Really like the way the supra rims look on these cars so may pick those up. Plus a stage one clutch sounds like a good idea too.
Cleanest engine bay of any car I've ever bought!
Next to my other pride and joy a 1992 Ford Taurus SHO 5 speed

G'day G'day
Hey all names Zac or Sykoise on here I guess.
If you cant tell, I'm Australian and have just bought my new Toyota Soarer 1993 UZZ31 GT Limited :3
Only just found out a bit of the car too after research that its infact a custom order model Z31 with a few little bits and pieces added Still got a bit of work to do on it but all in all it runs mint, really stoked with this gorgeous 1UZ engine and a even more beautiful car for my second car!
So far it hasn't got too many mods, other than some sweet as aftermarket DRG Coilovers which I think the previous owner had no idea about.

Hello, I purchased a 95' SC300 Manual with 130k mi a few months ago. Was always serviced by Lexus, and driven by an old lady. Been looking for a clean ride like this for years now, and finally found it! So far I dropped a K&N in, and had the timing belt / water pump changed. Looking to get some lightweight wheels and a Cali legal exhaust for her soon. Very excited to own this car, I've always wanted a Supra but this is more in my budget.

Hey guys I have been a Supra guy since early 2000's. Came across a 95 SC400 with 78k miles and had to pick it up. All original 2 owner car that is super nice. Just thought I'd drop a line.

New Member!
I just bought this 92 sc and oh hell the previous owner did some damage!! Im going to fix up lots of old parts and I'm going to be installing some new parts! *woohoo!*
long term goals:
boost via super charger or turbo I haven't decided which will be better for my daily drift sc.
body repair. The vehicle collided with a curb and did some heavy wheel damage.
roll over safety features.
obd2 installment? I'll have to look into that one here on the forum!
I might experiment with the different vvti selections we have available. I need to learn what I can realistically do with this older model. should I just go buy a 98-2000?
2016 goals
I need to re map the entire air intake. My engine bay is missing several parts of my system (air box is actually gone, and a ****ty rusted k&n air filter was put on the poor car. hey, they lost the air pipes... but they replaced them. That's cool. I look forward to improvising and improving upon there system.
I am pretty damn sure I'll ditch the resonators permanently and straight pipe it from the cats to the mufflers. If you are reading this and have an opinion about that please share it because I could be starting on that as soon as next week!*excited!*
4stace wheels with nice summer time tread tires. And four drift ready wheels with whatever tread I can shred.

Black '99 SC300
What's up guys! I'm new to Club Lexus though I've been a lurker on these forums for a while before buying my first SC.
Here she is: a very stock 1999 black SC300
Funny story though - my brother and I towed it from Brooklyn, NY back to our home in MA with his 1994 Ford Ranger and a trailer borrowed from a family friend. The car is running and driving, but we figured this was the most legal way to get it home when driving across 3 states, seeing as how the car was unregistered.
[img][/img]
The Ranger is a 2wd 2.3L 4-cylinder 5-speed, and we still managed to tow my SC home without breaking down or having any issues at all! We spent most of our time on the highway in 3rd gear full throttle (still losing speed up hills lol) though because the Ranger was struggling lol. It can barely pull it's own weight sometimes, nevermind trying to tow another car.
The only mod done to this car so far is that the last owner installed HID's, though I personally find them hideous haha. My plan with this car is to eventually do an r154 swap, wheels and tires and a drop of course, some other small cosmetic mods, and eventually go NA-T. My power goal is 300-350whp but I'd be happy with whatever I can get out of it reliably. I'll definitely be spending a lot of time in this forum as I progress with this build!

Mmmmyellow
Whats up everybody, been searching on the forums for a while and figured I had to join when I got a 1999 sc300. Its silver with the factory chromeys. Ive been looking for some ideas for what to do with it, I know I want to get it plastidipped steel blue. I also want to getva custom catback, not sure if I want to keep it dual or go to a single. I was considering new headers but Ive heard the factory ones are pretty good already. I'm not trying to make 350+ hp, just some decent power gain without spending over 3k(for now). Any help is appreciated, and Ill put some pics up soon!
