Hey guys fairly new to the group just have not introduced myself yet. I have a 92 sc 400. It sat for 8 years before I acquired it a year ago. Now That I am almost back to having it reliable and running well enough for me to be happy with it, I am ready to get arms deep and turn this thing up a notch.......or 5.

DId you know the color green is in 99% of the food that is consumed by all horses and cows in the world?! Very earth friendly color, tone and hue you chose, going with the green color. Mine was delivered to me in beige and so I feel like I am constantly wearing khaki colored beige pants!!

New guy
Hi, my name is Cameron. I am a new owner of a red 92 sc400. It was passed down to me by my godfather. I come to this site often just looking at problems people may have had that I am having, so I figured id join the forum. I'd like to upload a picture but I can't seem to find out how to do it from my phone.

Just picked up this sc400 about a week ago. Has the wheels off of my starion on it now because the work meisters it came with have bald tires. Such a great cruiser with the 1uz and UAS bags/megan coilovers. Has some minor things I need to take care of but its in a whole lot better shape than all the other cars I was looking at, and gray interior I had no idea there was such a thing for these cars until I went to buy it.

Newbie
Just joined the CL after lurking for a couple months. I been a Nissan 300ZX TT guy for a long time with TT.net but I just started to mod my 92 SC400 so I might fine some insight about this tank of a car. I had 12 300zxTT and moded them out for the past 12 years, also have MK4 98 Supra TT with BPU upgrades, currently restoring a modding a bit on my sc400. Also trying to Supercharge my 2010 Tundra soon plus I had a boosted 2000 camry 5sfe.

Hi. My name is mike. I've lurked around this forum for about a year since I had my first 98 sc300. I was forced to sell before I could start modding it.
I just bought a 92 sc300 for 900$ That sat for 2 years from a bad alternator and fuel pump.
Got it running within a week now on to road worthiness and turbo over the summer

Old timer...
The first foreign car I have ever owned 93 SC400 , second owner bought from an older guy, best car I have ever driven. My mech. friends say the newer ones are less well built too bad. I really appreciate quality and that seems to be something that has gone away. What are your thoughts?

95 SC400...but i have to sale :(
Hey gang my name is Ed and I have a 1995 SC400 that I love. Just redid alternator, power steering pump, valve cover gasket, and intake manifold. I am having the capacitor issue as mentioned in this forum and the ECU will need to be replaced. I was going to replace it however I have come to a realization...I must sell this beauty (which may need a paint job) because I (well actually two of us involved and my girlfriend loves the car too) well we are having a baby in October and as much as I love it the SC400 just is not practical for us(its that whole grown up responsibility thing)...and I do not want her having to go in and out with the baby seat. So before I spend more on this little gem will anyone suggest where may be the best place to post (besides here) where I may be able to get the most for her(my car that is) dollar wise. I will be taking a loss I know for what I paid for it plus recent updates. Honestly if I can get $2500 out of it I will be good with it. Appreciate any good advice and leads and if anyone interested holler back. Thank you!!!

So I've been lurking the threads for a while but I just picked up this 1992 SC300 shell. My buddy moved up to Orlando and he couldn't take both of his projects with him, and his mom wanted him to get it off her lawn so I offered to take it. So free project car for me! Definitely needs some work but when I'm done hopefully she'll be slaying tires!
Also I'm a Mechanical Engineering major in South FL graduating soon. Was into the Jeep scene before but I lost touch with the dudes I used to go offroading with.
Hope to learn a lot from this forum along with help others whenever I can.

Introduction
Hey guys the names Aundra, copped me a 92 sc400 2weeks ago, love the car but hate it at the same time!
Currently trying to get the car back to its glory days, no engine mods as I plan to swap this 1uz out! I'm currently dealing with "Limp Mode" issues but hey gotta deal with trouble sometimes. Riding bumper less bc I'm making some sweet mods.
Location: ATL, Ga
Color: Burgandy (old *** paint)
Platform: 1uz auto tragic
Mods:
GAB Coilovers (poop)
97 Front and Side Skirts
Single Din Kenwood
mk4 front limp (retro fit)
Is250 wheels
Future Mods:
Bride Buckets (waiting for shipping)
Vertex side skirts and back bumper
Tint
HID (headlights and fogs)
Paint
Wheels
Then possibly a swap but I'm fixing two cars at once so the process is slow
Garage:
92 Sc400
03.5 Mazdaspeed Protege

Hey guys! New guy here. Just picked up a 92 SC300 with a 1JZGTE w/ R154 5 speed. I'm going to be using this as a drift car (that I am driving to the track)! I also own a FRS (which is my daily) and I've had a few performance cars in the past as well!
I've lurked on Club Lexus for a long time (my first new car was almost a blue IS300)... but never posted. This is truly one of my favorite forums! Super informative and great people. I hope you guys will forgive my ignorance with Toyota / Lexus stuff as I am a Nissan guy haha, and help a brother out!
I will of course share what knowledge I have and try my best to give back to the community! Thanks! Any SoCal 1JZ SC's in here?!?!

Greetings. Been surfing this site in anticipation of a '93 SC400 purchase (former '95 SC300 owner.) Great posts and plenty of info to help me pull the trigger.
Next week I will take delivery of the needle in the haystack. It has been sitting in a garage and driven by the legendary "little old lady" for the past 21 years. In this time she accumulated 25k documented, well maintained miles. I couldn't pass on this one.
My automotive history includes assorted Audis and Porsches with a VW Corrado early on. Most recently I am coming out of an '06 Mazdaspeed 6 that I did not want to sell but I can't keep 'em all.
I plan to go over this SC and take care of some potential mechanical weak spots before they become true problems - basically, anything rubber. I also need to delete the optional gold badging and upgrade wheels (gold lace BBS knock-offs) and original tires. I will then get into some upgrades; intake, exhaust, suspension (bushings,) brakes, etc.
I look forward to reviewing all of the postings and comments - a lot of great tribal knowledge in here.
Regards,
Soarrific
