My name is HalMor and I am original owner of 92 SC400. Just had entire interior done in leather. Found a great place called G&G Upholstery, 12218 Atlantic Avenue, Lynwood, CA 90262-4659, (310) 631-4974. Excellent work, honest and affordable. Body work and service done by Lexology, 1435 Aviation Blvd., Redondo Beach, CA 90278. (310) 379-0543.
Fabulous! Took only 4 weeks for all work. Have 109,000 miles and love this car.

Sup guys and gals name is Tim but i go by Big Sticks, just got a 94 sc300 about a week ago has have no real complaints, first time posting but i have been for a while now doing research. The car has 209,xxx miles so she just broke in. Plans are the cookie cutter 1j swap but the car will be my daily/local drift series car so it will get gutted and caged looking to make 400ish and call it a day motor wise then just focus on suspension. Anyways back to research

Hey guys, my name is Nick! I'm from The Northeast, and I have been buiding cars for 15 years now.
I recently acquired a 1992 sc300.
This car is completely beat to $%^T! 185k miles, leaking every seal and gasket.
No one maintained this car, ever. But it ran and drove 300 miles with no brakes, a cracked windshield, and bald tires in a rain storm.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z8kNbYHrJ9o
Shortly after I got it, I decided that the most prudent thing to do is swap a fresh, low mile JDM 1jzgte/Auto into it, rather then rebuild the stock drivetrain.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GUn3jqgVbSs
After about 3 weeks of google searching the "Chaser JZX90" wiring pinout, with its the least documented of the three versions of 1jz, I found everything I needed! It runs!
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AIMPNQVgCZQ
I love to help those in need, and I am quite good at TIG welding. Holler at me if you need any Stainless Steel work done!
Thanks for having me, back to building.

Hi,
Originally had built up a 240sx with SR swap--But she was stolen from me about 3 years ago. I drove an Avalon inbetween then and now. Just picked up a 95 sc300 with 158k miles, I believe the official name of the color is teal mist (not fond of it at all)? I plan on getting this bad boy drift ready and hopefully perform some extensive weight reduction to help with power as I am not planning on going turbo or swapping for a good amount of time. I am searching for best ways to improve NA power.

Hey everyone! The names Tim..I picked up a 92 sc4 in ok shape..looks good in pics, but it hasn't been maintained..Lucky for the car I bought it. From what I can tell is it's a fake AC kit, since the rear is a lip and not a full bumper...the wheels are MRR 19x9f-19x9.5r painted blue with with purple pearl. I'm currently trying to figure out a power steering/ oil leak issue, I've been in love with sc's for awhile and I finally got one.
Before the paint.
The night I got it.
After a good wash.
Lemme know if ya'll know of anything I should look for(with the leaks and/or common issues)

Hey SC community! First off happy new years to you all. I want to introduce myself from Dublin, CA about 45 minutes east of San Francisco. I've had my SC400 '94 since 02 and at the time it had about 135K. Now at the end of 2010 I currently have 289900.
It took me quite awhile to get on a forum because really I didn't know much about it and still don't, but for the new year I'm looking for some projects and new hobbies to get into. I'll post some pics in the near future for you guys when I find the upload pics feature (noob!).

Ive had this 94 sc300 5speed for about 8 months now. it has a 97 front bumper, homemade BFI i cut out myself lol, tokico struts with rsr springs, supra fr seats and wheels (spares) currently rolling on 18" work vs-mx. Welcome. You should check out the Florida section. If you're in south Florida, we are having a little meet at Starbucks on pines and dykes tonight at 8pm.

The paint is looking chipped on the hood, suspension is getting weak, windshield needs to be replaced, i need some new upholstery, but again, its gonna be 10 yrs old in june. A turbo kit will be the next step in my upgrades. for 10 years, its driving pretty good. I've been viewing the forum for a while and decided to go ahead and join.

Hello,
My name is Manus. My wife is the original owner of our garage queen 92 SC400 since Oct 1991. We brought it from Sonnen Lexus in Marin. It only has 52k original miles. Everything in this car is stock. It is like new condition. I am planning to bring it to Exact Autosport in Milpitas for 60k (may be 90k) service and a new timing belt soon. I just found this forum today and is convinced to keep the car. We almost wanted to sell the car many times due to practicality. I think I will dress up this car with a good body kit but not going to the extreme.

Hello Everyone
My name is Brad Cochran. I just traded away a 1993 Toyota 4Runner for a 1993 SC400. My father worked as a mechanic for Lexus for many years and I can recall roaming the car lot, looking at this very car. So it was cool to get the opportunity to get something that seemed impossible so many years ago.
Now comes the work. I believe this car has been passed amongst a bunch of teenagers. Obnoxious 20" rims, aftermarket mufflers. The paint is trashed. The inside is pretty torn up. I love how the gold emblems were removed, painted black and glued back on crooked. The good news is that the engine appears to be unscathed. So its gonna be a fun journey.
I look forward to combing through the posts, looking for advice and replacement parts.
