covered so many times... 1JZ is cheaper but wont produce all the power a 2JZ will. Both are mod friendly. Im not sure but im guessing install should be around the same. Im thinking you might run into issues with the 1JZ engine harness needing to be extended for the fact it comes out of a RHD car.

The harness will have to be extended on both 1J and 2J. And the swap is going to be more work on an SC400.

Yeah personally id love to go with a 1j, because im not too crazy for power, but considering my car already has a NA 2j I might as well, go with a mild Na-T build.

Use the search button and dig up some builds read up on them. You should get more of an idea that way since a build has so many variables even though you listed a couple guidelines.

Depends...how deep are ur pockets.....LOL

Seroiusly thou NA-T is (IMO) the half-a**ed way to go sometimes, thats pretty much buying a turbo kit and slapping it on there.....Now dnt get me wrong some ppl do it right buy taking out the engine, building the internals up and put down some good power...but in the end u could have gotten the 1j or 2j gte....what kind of budget are you working with if you dnt mind me asking and ur power goals?

Any body esle who has an experience with the NA-T please chime in
