97 SC400 Subwoofer clearance?
Has anyone replaced the subwoofer on a SC400?
What size should be used in that hole?
How much clearance can I go before the gas tank interferes with the sub magnet?
Many subwoofers are advertised by outer diameter but doesnt say what the depth is.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

TBH, you're not gonna find much anyway. It's gonna be a 10" sub I believe, but its a free air. There isnt enough room for MOST free air subs to fit, I don't have all of the measurements on me, I moved to Arizona and my measurement sheet is in NE, but IIRC, most free air's won't fit in the stock location. Either you're gonna have to build a bracket to lift the sub up, or find a shallow shallow sub. That is if you're 100% sure you wanna run it right there. The BEST way is to run an aftermarket sub in a proper box in the trunk. Hope that helps.
