Question JDM or Euro

Need help with this one guys!

I have an auto 94 sc300 that I'm looking to 2jzgte swap and from what I have researched on the net and spoken to several different reps that all I need is the 2jzgte head on my NA block.

On the other hand, I have a 95 BMW M3 that's already Dinan tuned and Vortech V2 supercharged. My issue is that I've seen 2jzgte M3/M5 @ e-shift performance, LS's @ New age hot rods dropped into BMW's and with any of these engines handling/weight distribution will still be spot on.

if it was an e46 or newer i would say bmw. Also i think there are subtle differences in the gte and ge block, so i dont think swapping heads will suffice.

From what I've read on several different forums I would agree that just swapping the head will not work! However, the rep world renown Titan motorsports said it would work .

Block difference - oil squirters, pistons/rods, compression of course ...ect.

Off topic: Now, my 87 turbo supra i truly miss. Sold her to a fellow supra (young) guy, but he beat to hell, then ended up with rod knock, swapped in another 7mgte, rod knock that one, sold it to someone else. I found it on craigslist gutted and violated. A truly sad day my friend.

Swapping heads have been done for years. not any problems at all, for low hp/applications

agreed that, the NA block has differences, but nothing is wrong with using the NA block. Which is what we use in our High HP builds.

So i still stand by what i said about the NA block being good for your power goals.

e36 with an LSX with a turbo = fun stuff... I would do that over the 2jz. Love the 2jz but how can you say no to low end torque?
