^ Really curious about the people dong this swap on OBD2 cars.
Mechanically it seems to be the same as all SC4's; its the electronics and CEL's that I'm worried about. My '99is dying for a manual but there simply isint enough information out there as to how to go about it. And I am nowehre near expierienced enough to be the guinea pig lol

I'm almost done with my R154 swap but my car is a 93 so it is OBDI. I hope that I can get it to pass CA smog in 18 months time. At least I have time to figure it out if there is a problem!!

I talked to a state head rep out of San Francisco, and unofficially told me that he doesnt believe that the average smog tech wouldnt notice that the car isnt supposed to come with a manual.

Fak...i still have my r154 and associated parts in storage. I did get the brake pedal in...lol then started drinking beer and havent touched it since!

That is nice to hear. I think that once it's finished, it should look stock on the interior, other than the dash with the PRND21 lights.

You think they'll notice the supercharger under the hood?! The guy I go to actually told me that as long as the CEL isn't on, he will pass it. Since its OBD1, I should be able to keep that CEL off.

Even if you get it smogged with a supercharger you gotta make sure that if a cop pulls you over he doesn't notice that supercharger.
