Remember why I did this in the first place, it was because of the cold, icy snow seasons and it protected me from the sands. Also through super hot days you will see the results by watching the second video.

It screams "Hey look at me, I finally made enough money to graduate out of the buy everything as cheap as possible for my Honda Civic and now I'm ruining this car too!"

Luxury = Paint
Ricer = Plasti-Dip/Primered Car

I dont understand why so many of you are being negative about it....plasti dip peels off!! Not to mention its easy to work with, and if done right can look great. The Audi S4 guys like it, and sorry but I hold an S4 a bit higher in standards than my SC:

http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...tte-white-pd-2

Yes I support it cause for one Im considering doing my SC white, and second the plasti dip paint has been mentioned here before and it was supported simply cause it can be removed easily. And there is a big difference between plasti dip and spray paint.

We drive glorified Toyota's, get off the everything being rice thing cause you dont agree with it.

aside from the looking cheap factor, plasti dip peels off with ur nail... thsi guys paint must fall off during heavy rain maybe even heavy driving. i mean with rocks hitting it and stuff.
i wouldnt recommend it but it is ur car after all.

I don't know why you would hold an S4 to a higher standard, both cars sold for about the same price MSRP and I've driven both and I'm much happier driving my SC300.

We don't drive a glorified Toyota, we drive a Lexus SC300/400 - our car was not based on another car, another car (obviously the Supra) was based off of ours. It's not like a IS300 that looks like an overpriced Camary.

When you do dumb **** to your car, like ruin the paint by putting plasti-dip on it, then you ruin the car, plain and simple. I don't care if Lambos were doing it, from a detailers stand point and a car nuts stand point it's dumb and cheap looking.

SC's have become a bit of rarity now, especially ones that are clean anymore. Sure you can get them cheap but to get them back to like new condition (because of all the idiots who did junky work to them, or let them go) is very expensive and time consuming.

Maybe it's all about execution? That Audi definitely pulled off the plastidip better than the g35.

Knowing this forum people will start plasti-dipping their tan interiors...

Well for one the S4 Im talking about isnt a 20yr old TOYOTA...remember, Toyota does make Lexus, or would you like the Wikipedia info on Lexus..?

I give up. Seems Im not a "true" Lexus SC owner cause I dont put my SC on a pedestal, and cause Im not afraid to try something thats considered a bit "cheap" at times..or "junk yard" work, whatever that means..guess your referring to my LS1, which btw didnt come from a junk yard.
