SC300 GTE or Supra
Well i know its been covered but im not looking for information. Im looking for opinions right now. im in Afghanistan right now until June so me and my wife are saving all the funds for a dream car. Both of these are my number one picks, thats the problem. Does anyone own or has owned a supra that has owned a swapped 6spd SC300? Im looking at 700+ wheel on either so i got the same goals for both but i dont know if i cant give up the lexus scene and go to a supra. I love the interior on the sc's, the lines of the exterior but i hate the interior on a supra and love the exterior. I dont know what to do and time is ticking. It goes much faster here then i thought and im looking for my deployment present starting months ago. Thanks guys

i love everything about a sc. classy yet sassy. and aren't your import laws like 25 years old to get one over here? its all about the 93+ supra. and supra are beautiful cars, im not saying they aren't, but i love EVERYTHING about the sc. its pretty dang hard to beat.

If I had the money supra, but for the price of a stock tt supra I can just do an all out gte v160 single turbo sc300.. That's my plan at least. To me I have this mental picture that if it's a supra it has got to be a beast, with an SC it doesn't have to be, it can just look nice. I'm weird like that.

The price of supras in the states are retarded compared to SC's. Mostly from F&F but also because turbo MK4 supras are pretty rare.
You are better off buying a cheaper chassis and doing the swap since it will be a lot cheaper.
Not to mention mk4 supras are even bigger boats than SC's are.

A friend and I had this argument awhile ago. The price of a Supra is almost the price of a brand new car now-a-days. The new car probably won't have the power of the supra..but still. I'd say SC. If money is an issue, that is. Grab an SC, and use the extra money you'd have spent on the Supra in mods or something.

well im forced to decide asap because febuary is the month i will possible be picking up a 6spd sc300 or if i dont ill possible be buying a supra in june. The price on the supra isnt a big deal because having a supra or swapped sc is my dream car anyways. Im just stuck between both of them right now. I love my sc i have now but i can also find a single turbo supra for around 30k. that would be the price id be looking at purchasing an sc swapped and going single also. I dont know what you mean by the import laws either. The only thing in cali you have to worry about is smog laws and im in the military so i can fix that fast with some florida registration =)

if i was given a supra or won the lottery i would def have a supra, since it isnt in MY budget i got the SC and i love it. the perfect storm would be to have a t67 GTE sc for the wife/family functions, and a t88 supra for yourself lol
there i got dreaming again sorry if i wasnt much help
