Question To all that roll low, how do you deal with scraping?

Driving low, as good as it looks, really can put a toll on the underside of our cars. I've been trying to figure out a proper way to keep my car rolling smoothly even over bumps and dips in the road. My biggest concern has been the front tow hooks. They straight jam into so many dips in the road. I hit them so hard one time while driving that it managed to knock my carpc's monitor out of it's frame. Another concern has been the oil/transmission pans. It scares me that they might get punctured. Anyone make a skid plate that works for our cars? I drive static on some curvy dippy roads and i really just want to prolong the life of my car. The frame and exhaust on my car are so scraped up. I'll try to post pictures of what i'm talking about later.

Don't even get me started on rubbing....

+1 lol. Sometimes you can't avoid scraping no matter what angle your at. I know when I used to ride low for the first time I died a little inside.. I was hurting my car D: Sometimes I drive slower in areas, pot holes and speed bumps i'd avoid or at least learn how to get over some of them.

Make a skidplate if you are that worried about your oilpan.

Scraping is just natures way of letting you know that you're doing it right.

Learn to drive better, pay better attention to trouble spots in the road and eventually it becomes second nature. I also have a big ford excursion and I some times catch myself serving to miss manhole covers or cracks in the road.

if your low, scraping and laying frame is inevitable. If you cant deal with it, raise your car. Otherwise enjoy the look on your friends face's when you smash out a frame rail, or grind your exhaust on a speed bump. Hell my SC is to the point i cant go infront of walmart's because of the speed bumps.

When I was slammed, I quit driving my SC altogether. I couldn't make it out of my driveway and my car rubbed so much that it chewed up my front tires in just a few weeks.

You're only option is to keep scraping or raise the car up.
