This thread is exactly why I stopped here in the lowering process:

I don't have any issues except for the occasional steep incline pulling in or exiting I've got to angle and take my time. But I'm not hellaflushbaldtirepokedstretchedout either .

Scrapping comes with the territory, either accept it or dont lower it (too much). Its that simple.

I LOVE the look on everyone's face when they see me scrape on dips. Everyone who comes to my house always asks how I get up my driveway and I just go in and out no problem.

Like JDMuscle said, it becomes second nature. You gotta be careful and look waaay ahead when your driving. I also drive a Big T-100 Truck and find myself dodging potholes.

I also see your from VA. Your roads out there arent half as bad as the ones up here in NOVA. So if your afraid of scraping and hitting frame just raise it.

Im actually not that low but I havent relocated my harness.

everytime I hit a bump or pothole I cry on the inside and apologize to my lexxy while rubbing the dash. my tires hit the top of the wheel well alot so I'm thinking of cutting some metal or take a sledge hammer to make more room.

Fabricate some subframe risers, throw on taller wheels/tires, even some shock spacers http://www.rhdjapan.com/moonface-sup...-spacers-60215

i know im not as low as some but im pretty dam low
you will learn to take the long way home lol, no but you really will begin to pay attention to the areas your driving and learn to predict roads and such
.. as i have. you are going to get those hard smacks still but you will get better at avoiding them the more drive like it

subframe is lower then oil pan and frame rails are lower then trans pan, unless you run over something sticking out youre not damaging anything. Ive bottomed out more then once where my front tire hit the upper metal and caused tire smoke up front.

^^^subframe is aluminum... it bends very easy... trust me i just replace mine. it weighs about 25lbs which is bad in comparison to many other cars.

what i'm saying is you have to hit something that sticking out of the ground to bend or brake something major. Trust me, my car is as slammed as it can get, my overall tire height is slightly smaller then stock 15" tire height but on 19s and the top of the tire sits on the metal fully aired down, its not possible to go any lower and theres still a good 1.5" between the f/subframe and the ground
