welcome to club lexus! first off would be to check the fuse, to see if it is blown.my cig lighter didnt work but it was because of corrosion in the barrel.

next time try using the search button as this has been covered before, and where at in NJ are you? im exit 100 on the GSP

have you tried multiple devices in the cig lighter? sometimes a fuse inside a charger can blow and could make you think your cig lighter is blown

There's also an inline fuse right at the bottom of the lighter, well at least for my 93 there was. If it looks like some plastic is melted away right at the bottom then the fuse is blown. Just go to auto zone and pick up another and do a tiny bit of fabrication to get a new one to work.

if it is not the fuse, it is most likely corrosion in the lighter assembly. Underneath there is a small wire which is known to be a problem.

A thread i made some time ago might be helpful.
