Default 1992 SC 400 Seized Crankshaft Pully?/Alternator

Hello. I recently purchased an sc 400 92 for a project. It appears that the crankshaft pully is seized, as I can not spin it by hand. Same with the alternator. I plan on replacing the alternator, but what should I do about the crankshaft pully? Is there a way to unseize it? We had cut the serpentine belt and started the car for a second to ensure it runs, and it does. Help is appreciated

Is the bolt seized or the actually pulley? Use a universal pulley removal tool along with PB Blaster. If you break it, I have one with a bolt. Good luck.

ok stop tryin to turn the crank by hand. this is ridiculous.

first. can u crank the motor over by starting it with the key in the ignition?

if that doesn't work. get a breaker bar and a big socket. i think its a 22mm or 7/8 socket and turn the motor that way.

if the motor doesn't turn. im pretty sure the engine is seized. or perhaps the waterpump broke and is making it harder to turn the motor. i've seen the water pump fail and cause something like this to happen, with the exception i was still able to turn the engine.

a seized altenator wouldn't stop a motor from running. the belt would either break or burn up.
