Default Can't pass state inspection.

Tried to do state inspection on my car and it won't pass because there aren't any cats. Is there a way I could try to pass it without having to buy cats and put them in?

If they do emissions..probably not it'll fail without cat's...or if it's just a visual inspection for cats you might be able to attach some larger diameter piping over the stock and make them look like they are one piece for the cat...if not id probably order some high flow cats and call it a day.

No, there is absolutely no way to do so.

Theoretically (although I doubt smog shops would do this ), you could slip some extra money to them under the table... and they'll pass you.

Of course, now you gotta find a shop that does so. You're probably not going to find this through a Google search for obvious reasons, so you might have to ask around and ask the right people.

okay, I was thinking about just getting hi flows but according to this site I found there is no such thing as a "high flow" or "performance" cat? :/

I didn't take em out I swear! :P I just bought the car and the engine was shot so I spent time working with a new engine for awhile then I looked under and there were no cats. Previous owner probably took it off for less restriction.
