Default Need help deciding on polishing lips or not on F-Sport wheels.

I need to have one of my wheels fixed. Im kinda leaning toward having the lips polished out on my F-Sport wheels. I had a guy photoshop a pic, but it might not fully rep what they would look like in real life. Just want to hear some opinions.

Ya I agree with you there. No polished lip for me, too many people have it. Given how much I respect you and your car I would be severely disappointed if you got a polished lip LOL!

Thanks man, that might just have won me over. Im just worried that wheels america will not get the F-Sport mat color exactly right.

Ok guys well I lied or just changed my mind or got talked into, having the lips machined not polished. This is the situation. Wheels America powder coats there wheels, not paint. So that being said, if I decided to have them fix the bent wheel & the curb rash, then they could get my wheels (close) to the same color but, not exactly the same. So at that point they could machine the lips & not touch the center of the wheel, which leaves the original color. Now also the clear coat that they use is also powder coat. Because of baking of the powder coat, they cant just tape off the center of the wheel or are not willing to, and just powder coat the lips. So that meens they will machine the lips & then clear the whole wheel, which will change the finish/color of the wheel just slightly. I dropped them off today & they said they will be ready tomorrow. So I will post up some pics in the next couple of days. I want to get a really good camera to do this, so you guys can see exactly how they turned out. I really hope I like them.
